Entrevista con el Vampiro ...transmitted on 08.07.12

"Echale Vampiro!"

Very few Artists can have the privilege of playing with 2 of the most important Bands of Mexico, guitarist César López Garcia, most famously known as "El Vampiro", can say this he started with various Bands, being the most important Azul Violeta, but he hit the big times when he was picked by Mana , and he was immortalized on the song "Me Vale" with the phrase "Echale Vampiro!" But this was not enough and he was called by Jaguares to play with them, this was a milestone, because even thou Mana was a biggest popular act in Mexico, Jaguares came from the ashes of Caifanes, the seminal band for all your rockers from 90s. He came to Jaguares and now, he even has a side Project called FLORES ACIDAS. So take the time and listen to his music and a very sincere talk, about music, politics and The Beatles. And the playlist is…

01 Jaguares - Viaje Astral [Cuando la Sangre Galopa '01] + Último Planeta [Cuando la Sangre Galopa '01]
02 Jaguares - Visible [45 '08] + Lobo [45 '08] + Arriésgate [El Primer Instinto '02]

Band of the Month - Bomba Estereo ...transmitted on 07.31.12

"llévame pal cuarto, así está mejor,
pa’ que lentamente hagamos el amor
si quita me la ropa quítame la piel
abre bien los ojos que te quiero ver
besa me despacio y dame una caricia
y yo mientras tanto te levanto la camisa
yo sigo bajando dime que se siente
ahora que me acerco veo sudor en tu frente
me pongo en la cama todos hacia un lado
todos en la fiesta tu arriba
yo abajo arriba abajo"

Every now and then comes a Band along to challenge your musical believes. such Band is BOMBA ESTÉREO, this Colombian band that it's 6 year old and with just 2 albums (Vol.1 and Estalla!) and one that just came out Elegancia Tropical. Their fame has proven that culture has no limits, in fact they have been in 2010 at the South by Southwest, Bonnaroo, Lovebox, and Bumbershoot festivals; on 2011 they performed at Coachella and Austin City Limits and Mexico's Vive Latino and 2012, they have continue touring all over the globe.
